Snow Cream, Snowballs and Sledding

Today we had our first "real" snow day since 1993; in which, Mason wasn't even born. Sooo really this was Mason's first memory of SNOW.
I'm not sure I can even recall the first memory I have of Snow. Hmmm. On the norm we don't really have too many snow days here. Hmmm. It may be the time that me and my friend Leigh Ann played (for hours) in our backyard. We did take pictures that day...I'll have to see about fishing those out of storage.

Today was spent with friends throwing snowballs, sledding down hills, experiencing numb fingers(Beazer)/feet(Josh)/bum(me)/chin(me) and laughing.

Here are a few pictures of our fun day. Hope you enjoy!
Yea...that's me! I know you're jealous.

For Starters!

Well...where do I begin. Let's start with Christmas Eve. Without warning, luckily waking up early on Christmas Eve I checked on Mama and I HAD to call the paramedics because she could not get her breath no matter what I did...I gave her back to back to back treatments, her Advair, tried her puffer (she couldn't even blow into that crazy thing) but nothing would help. She did end up at the hospital with a 3 night stay in the PICU (post intensive care unit) which the first 24 hours the doctors worked, to much success, to get her blood pressure stabilized...it was staying somewhere around 64/48 (scary low number). She was diagnosed with having severe pneumonia in her left lung and severe myalgia (which we are still battling). All in all she had a total 5 nights stay in the hospital which absolutely saved her life...again.

As you already have figured out she spent Christmas in the hospital but her spirits were good enough that it didn't bother her. She was really just concentrating on getting better. I made sure she had her Christmas stocking and some cute decorations for her room(s) and we took her gifts up to her room for her to open...it was nice.

I'll post more later...

Blessings,
Tammy
